This site is dedicated to the memory and life of Joyce Shanock Simon (1932-2007). It will feature memories about comments about Joyce and her love of glass art, particularly Czech glass art. It will also have links to artists and their sites as well as links to galleries that feature glass art. The site will be maintained by Seymour Simon and you may write to him at (simon@seymoursimon.com) with comments or suggestions as well as post on this site directly.
Joyce was a passionate supporter of Czech glass artists. She was friends with many glass artists and their families. She would try to arrange for showings of their art in the US and she did this out of devotion to their art and their friendship. This blog will feature notes and comments about her life and her links to the glass art world.
